Here’s a video I shot and edited back in 2007 during my days at Digital Juice. It was a Behind the Scenes video for the DJTV show “Field of View”. Perry Jenkins did a beautiful job with the visuals on “Field of View” it really made the show what it was, the video features many of his shots from the show. It was a fun project to work on and one of the first videos I made for Digital Juice. I shot it with the Panasonic HVX. You can watch the entire series at Digital Juices web site. I’m also in the video, see if you can find me.

I love this. I reminds me of the old days when I was a stay at home dad with my baby girl who was born a preemie and only weighed 3lbs 9oz at birth. I quite my full time job so I could stay home and take care of her and do consulting on the side. It was during this time that I learned about Digital Juice. I learned so much from them and all the video’s I watched. I think the Field of View was the most important, because it taught you how to get people emotionally involved in what you were trying to say in the video. Kudos to the DJ team that Produced this work and DJ for letting them. I am so thankful for all the things that DJ has done. I remember the Forums, the Showcase where you could display your works and get others feedback on it. I treasure those times. A special thanks for Dave and Viv for having the vision to put that team together and go where no other company had gone before. They were truly visionaries. Sorry for rambling… and thanks for the trip down memory lane!!!
